Ripon Racecourse Marina

Ripon is one of the smallest cities in England. Picturesque with medieval and georgian buildings lining twisty lanes. The market square leads to the cathedral and Minstergate.

Ripon Racecourse Marina is located to the south of the City on Boroughbridge Road. It is adjacent to Ripon Racecourse and is situated on Ripon Canal. The Canal is ideal for a short cruise into the City or onto the Ure. A canal walk was created alongside the canal for an easy stroll into the City Centre, where you will find an abundance of independent shops, pubs and restaurants.

Paul Smith

After six and a half years living on a narrowboat on England's inland waterways, Paul and his wife Cynthia wandered Europe by motorhome during the winter, and on the Dutch and French waterways in the warmer months on their 35' Dutch motor cruiser. However, the pull of England's muddy ditches proved too much for them. Now they're back where they belong, constantly stuck in mud in a beautiful traditional narrowboat.
