Useful Information
Paul Smith

After six and a half years living on a narrowboat on England's inland waterways, Paul and his wife Cynthia wandered Europe by motorhome during the winter, and on the Dutch and French waterways in the warmer months on their 35' Dutch motor cruiser. However, the pull of England's muddy ditches proved too much for them. Now they're back where they belong, constantly stuck in mud in a beautiful traditional narrowboat.

Toni and I were not very impressed with the pump-out service ! This was done somewhat differently to normal, and we wondered whether in fact the tank was completely emptied and flushed properly. there was no way of telling and there was not a “SeeThro” window in the connection pipe. The clean water flush appeared meager! We have noted the date and can get a reasonable idea when it is time for the next pump-out. The equipment seemed good however and appeared to work efficiently. Unfortunately, we were left with a doubt in our minds on completion. The usual price of £15 was paid
