flowers.jpgImage EnlargerDianne Collins contacted me. She wanted to know if you can solve her problem. She photgraphed the flower below on the Llangollen canal but can’t find out what it’s called. Do you know? I’ve had a look in my Collins Complete Guide To Wild Flowers. I think it’s stichwort, but I’m not certain.

Yes, that’s Stitchwort. I know this because I grew up in rural Wales and wildflower projects were a common feature during the summer term.
